Terms of Sale

1. Who sells to you

Products are sold by Nippon Paints Industry LLC, trading as Nippon Colours, Ajman, United Arab Emirates. You can reach us at sales@nipponpigment.com or +971 6 7428519.

2. Orders

When you place an order you receive a reference number and, if you gave an email address, a confirmation email. This confirms that we received your order; it is not yet our acceptance. Our team contacts you to confirm the details. The contract is made when we confirm your order, by phone, WhatsApp or email.

We may decline or cancel an order, for example if a product is unavailable, a price was shown in error or we cannot verify the order. If you have already paid for an order we cancel, we refund you in full.

3. Prices and VAT

Prices are not shown on the website. After you send a buy request, our team replies with a price in UAE Dirhams (AED), including VAT at the current UAE rate (5%) and any delivery charge. Your order is placed only when you accept that price.

Wholesale prices are given in a written quote and are valid for the period stated in it.

4. Payment

• Bank transfer: we start tinting once the payment reaches our account. Please quote your order reference.
• Cash on delivery: where offered, pay the driver the order total when your order arrives.

5. Delivery

We deliver within the UAE. We give you an expected delivery date when we confirm your order; tinted products usually need time to mix and pack before dispatch. Someone must be present to receive the goods. Please check the packs on delivery and tell us within 48 hours about any damage or anything missing. The goods are your responsibility from the moment they are delivered.

6. Colour accuracy

Colours on screens vary with the device and its settings, so the swatches on this website are a guide only. We tint to the RAL reference you choose. For colour-critical work, ask for a sample first or send us a physical reference to match. Small differences between production batches are normal; for a large job, order all of the material in one batch.

7. Tinted products, faults and returns

Pigment pastes and gelcoats tinted to your chosen colour are made to your order, so we cannot take them back because you changed your mind or chose a different colour.

If a product is faulty, damaged in transit or not what you ordered, contact us within 14 days of delivery with your order reference and photos. We will replace it, re-tint it or refund you. Unopened standard products in their original condition may be returned within 14 days by agreement; you pay the return delivery.

8. Safe use

Our products are for professional and industrial use. Read the product label before use, follow the stated mixing ratios, curing conditions and safety precautions, and store products as the label says. Shelf life and results depend on storage and application conditions that we do not control.

9. Liability

As far as the law allows, our liability for any order is limited to the price you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit or the cost of labour, provided we did not act wrongfully or with gross negligence. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under UAE law.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates and the laws of the Emirate of Ajman. The courts of Ajman have jurisdiction over any dispute. We always try to resolve a problem with you directly first, so please contact us.
